THE MEDIA BEAT GOES ON FOR MONTANA FISHBURNE – The media seemingly can’t get enough of Vivid’s newest star, Montana Fishburne. Stories about her, or interviews with her, have shown up on Inside Edition, TMZ, E! News, CNN Headline News, CBS, ABC, ShowBiz Tonight, Wendy Williams, The View and other TV shows throughout the U.S. and Europe; Sirius/XM and radio programs in Chicago, L.A., Phoenix, Philadelphia, Seattle, New York City, Atlanta and numerous other cities; print media such as US Magazine and USA Today; thousands of websites including PerezHilton, Eonline, People.com, Fox411, HuffingtonPost, Usmagazine.com, nypost.com, nydailynews.com …the list goes on.  All this attention had the anticipated impact on sales – the first shipment of Montana Fishburne sold out almost immediately. More media is scheduled and other activities are planned for the future for the 19-year-old Montana, daughter of famed actor Laurence Fishburne.

DEVIL OF A PARTY AT RICK’S NYC – Savanna Samson hosted a party at Rick’s Cabaret in New York City on Wednesday to celebrate her movie, The Devil in Miss Jones The Resurrection. The entire second floor of the popular upscale gentlemen’s club was packed with VIP guests and media, as Savanna signed DVDs of the movie and guests sipped her new wines.  The event was listed on the popular NYC nightlife site, "Guest of a Guest," and was covered by dozens of photo agencies such as Wire Image, Getty, Retna, Pix, Film Magic, and more. A video of the party will be distributed soon to several YouTube type sites and to other social media.

TRISTANS ROUGH SEX 2 IS BASED ON REAL-LIFE FEMALE FANTASIES -- Vivid will release Tristan Taormino's Rough Sex 2 on Monday, August 23rd. The movie responds to strong consumer demand for a second installment and is based entirely on the real-life fantasies of an all-star cast of female performers. Through deeply personal interviews, the stars reveal their personal preferences for rough sex, why they love it, how they establish trust with their partners, and what they need to feel safe as they play on the edge.  "In a politically correct world, it's nice to see that director Tristan Taormino continues to push the envelope," said Ben Atrophis of AVN in his AAAA1/2 review of the movie.  "In the sequel to the phenomenally successful Rough Sex she finds girls who have their own definitions of what makes 'rough sex' and they control the scenes by acting out their fantasies.  And a bunch of these babes are quite kinky." MALICE IN LALALAND AN XCRITIC COVER STORY – Xcritic.com has chosen Malice in LaLaLand as one of its Covers We Crave selections. Vivid has U.S. distribution rights to the highly anticipated breakthrough title from Miss Lucifer Productions. There has been strong advance buzz for the movie, shot on 35mm and produced by Joachem Goldstein and Lew Xypher. It combines animation, live action, hot sex scenes and a rock 'n roll score with remarkable post production and special effects. It stars Sasha Grey, who can currently be seen on HBO’s hit show Entourage. Says XCritic reviewer Christopher Thorne: “One of the things we haven't seen a lot of in 2010 is porn with a twisted vision. There are so many porn parodies based on comedies and sit coms that a void has really been created for anything darker. XCRITIC RECOMMENDS A BASKET OF VIVID TITLES – Xcritic.com has given its recommendation nod to numerous recent Vivid titles, including a “Highly Recommended” verdict on the Monique Alexander movie, Looks Like Fun.   In its summary of recent reviews, the popular site also repeats its choice of Batman XXX A Porn Parody as an XCritic Pick.    Montana Fishburne’s self-titled movie gets a recommended nod and reviewer Christopher Thorne says “it does deliver.”  Other recommendations were given to the B.
