VIVID GIRLS AND SHAUNA SAND-LAMAS ROCK OUT AT TOOTSIE'S DURING SUPER BOWL WEEK - Four Vivid Girls were joined by former Playboy Playmate and international TV actress/model Shauna Sand-Lamas at the peak of Super Bowl week for a party at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami. Savanna Samson, Sunny Leone, AJ Bailey and Monique Alexander all partied into the night at Tootsie's, which is believed to be the largest gentlemen's club in the United States and is part of Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. (NASDAQ: RICK) the nation's premier operator of upscale gentlemen's clubs. Dozens of photographers snapped pictures of the girls and assembled VIPs and athletes, who received "SWAG" bags filled with Vivid DVDs and other gifts. The Vivid Girls and Shauna greeted guests, posed for snapshots and signed autographs as they joined about 300 entertainers from Tootsie's Cabaret, which is near Sun Life Stadium (formerly LandShark) home of this year's Super Bowl.

SALES HONCHO HOWARD LEVINE STARTS BLOGGING -- Vivid Entertainment head of sales Howard Levine has begun a regular blog on XCritic.com. "We're excited to have Howard's unique perspective on the adult industry that could only come from deep, long-term experience. He knows this biz inside and out and we can't wait to see what he blogs about," said XCritic.com editor Chris Thorne,. The first blog by the veteran adult industry sales executive takes readers back to 1985, the first year he began selling adult movies. "Things were a little different back then," he writes. "Ronald Reagan took the oath of office for his second term. He did not like porn. The cost of a stamp was 20 cents and the median household income was $28k. Porn wasn't free on the Internet because the internet was just getting started... People who ripped off people in the porn business usually paid, quickly. It was a simpler time. You owe, you pay." Levine also recalls that "The gay market was shaken up by the death of Rock Hudson, the first big star to die of AIDS. There were no condoms used back then, and frankly no one really cared. We were selling a fantasy. The numbers were good and people bought big time." Levine recalls that the stars of 25 years ago included "Jamie Gillis who crossed over into mainstream movies; Jerry Butler who married Lisa Lorring, a sales person at Caballero who played Wednesday Addams on the Addams Family; John Holmes; Christy Canyon; Amber Lynn; Ginger Lynn; Bridgette Monet; Honey Wilder... .and a young girl named Traci Lords. It would be a year before anyone would discover how young Traci actually was. She made 164 or so movies in a very short time, and everyone stocked them. In 1986, everyone would pay dearly."

LIA IS WRESTLINGINC.COM GIRL OF THE MONTH - Vivid Girl Lia, has been chosen by WrestlingINC.com as its Girl of the Month for February. (http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/girls/2010/lia). XCRITIC PRAISES NEW VIVID MOVIES - Xcritic.com, the popular adult movie reviewing site, has given Vivid's Dirty Stories its coveted Highly Recommended honor. Starring Vivid Girl Monique Alexander and directed by Paul Thomas, reviewer Apache Warrior says Dirty Stories is about "the art of passionate, spontaneous, public sex," adding that it reflects new Vivid strategies designed to "continue their success as the top studio." He says Monique "shines brightly in her two scenes. Both of them show off Ms. Alexander's silent charm and sexiness. Her demeanor makes it easy for the viewer to fall for her." During the past week XCritic.com also recommended Screwed Over starring Vivid girls AJ Bailey and Savanna Samson plus Tiger Woods' alleged mistress Holly Sampson. Reviewer Don Houston says the movie, also directed by Paul Thomas, comprises "four unrelated vignettes about couples that have been well, screwed over." Houston praises "the strokability and replay value enhanced (and) upgraded from generic gonzo by way of Paul's witty dialogue and scenarios." Also getting a Recommended nod from XCritic.com this week is Briana Extreme, directed by B. Skow and starring former Vivid contract actress Briana Banks. Houston says it "was another step on the wild side for Vivid, allowing Skow to expand on the length of the tease in most cases."
