VIVID LAUNCHES KELLI MCCARTY WITH A BANG - Former Miss USA Kelli McCarty has stunned the entertainment world by launching an adult film career with Vivid Entertainment. "Faithless," her first DVD release, goes on sale February 4th. , 2009. the announcement of Kelli?s debut was covered by dozens of newspapers, television shows and internet entertainment sites, most of them with headlines similar to this classic: "MISS USA'S MISS XXX." Everyone picked up on a quote from Kelli in the Vivid press release announcing her newest career move: "I enjoy acting, and I really like sex, so this was the perfect opportunity to combine two of my passions. I approached Vivid with the idea of shooting a film with a sexy but interesting storyline, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of control I was given throughout the production process. I am very pleased with the final edit of 'Faithless,' and I just may do another adult film." The media also picked up on a quote from Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch: "She smolders sex from every pore of her body. As it turns out, she's a natural porn star." McCarty won the title of Miss Kansas in 1990 and was crowned Miss USA in 1991. She placed fourth in the Miss Universe competition that same year. Upon completion of her reign as Miss USA, McCarty appeared on several popular television programs, including Melrose Place, Beverly Hills, 90210, Silk Stalkins,, Dream On, Pacific Blue and Diagnosis Murder. She landed the role of Beth Wallace on the NBC daytime drama Passions in 1999 and played the character through 2006.

MEGGAN WILL BE WRESTLINGINC.COM GIRL OF THE MONTH - Vivid Girl Meggan Mallone will be the WrestlingINC.com Girl Of The Month for February 2009. In an interview that will be posted with an alluring photo, Meggan proves she?s pretty well informed about the not-so-gentle sport. Noting that she recently "signed a new Vivid contract for another wild year," Meggan also reveals that her personal favorite of the three Vivid movies she?s shot so far is "Hanna and Meggan Love Manuel," because "it was so much fun to make and I got to meet my co-star Hanna Hilton, who has become a very close friend with in real life." Asked who her favorite wrestler of all time is she answered without hesitation: "The Rock!! I smell what you're cookin', baby!" But as to which wrestler would make a better adult film star -- The Rock, John Cena or Stacy Keibler -- she didn?t miss a beat before answering: "Well, since The Rock already looks like one, I'd say Stacy. She's hot!" Meggan also put in a pitch for her most recent Vivid release: "It's called ?Strictly Conversation? and it?s directed by Paul Thomas, one of my favorite directors. I did scenes with Voodoo, Jennifer Dark, Derrick Pierce, but the best was with Chris Johnson! He?s definitely one of my favorites!"

BELLISSIMA SAVANNA FEATURED IN ITALIAN MAXIM - Vivid Girl Savanna Samson is featured in the latest Italian edition of Maxim. "Eros in a Bottle" by Alberto Motta's outlines Savanna's life as a ballerina, stripper at Scores, and more recently as a Vivid Girl. Motta also writes about her wine business and her AVN Award-winning success as an adult actress. "She has combined Eros, beauty and a career in the wine industry. Savanna has become the artist she is thanks to her career as a Vivid Girl," says Motta.

KIMBERLY KANE'S 'LIVE IN MY SECRETS' SHIPS - "Live in My Secrets," the latest Vivid-Alt movie directed by performer Kimberly Kane arrives in stores and online Jan. 29th. Vivid-Alt head Eon McKai describes it as "an extreme hardcore fetish feature from the most primal reaches of Kimberly's psyche. She shoots the hardest sex you can find on DVD. She doesn't hold back when she makes a movie, and she is unwilling to compromise her vision. That makes her one of the most passionate directors I have ever had the pleasure of working with." Kane shot the film with a mix of Super-8 film footage and hi-def video. AVN.com says "the results have earned advance praise from hipsters Violet Blue and Steve Diet Goedde." Kane herself stars in the new release, along with AVN Award-winner Sasha Grey plus Bobbi Starr, Faith Leon, Claire Adams, Aiden Star, April Flores, Mandy Morbid, Mick Blue, and Tyler Knight. Kane's previous releases include Vivid-Alt's "Morphine" and "Triple Ecstasy."
