VIVID’S “PORNO VALLEY”

SCORES BIG RATINGS -- Television viewers

in the UK are getting their first look at the reality

of what really goes on at Vivid Entertainment,

and they love it. A new show produced by World

of Wonder called “Porno Valley”

began airing in the U.K. (January 11th) and the first

episode was met with overwhelming response, exceeding

early ratings guesstimates. “Porno Valley”

is a close-up look at the day-to-day operations of

Vivid, seen mostly from the standpoint of co-founder

and partner Steven Hirsch. For several

months, cameras recorded him and other Vivid staffers

as they took meetings, negotiated deals, conferred

with colleagues and talent and produced Vivid’s

films. Writing about the series, Sky One said Hirsch

“is living and producing the American dream.

With unrestricted access, Sky One cameras will discover

the story behind Vivid Entertainment, the adult industry’s

greatest success.” The series is expected to

air in the United States later this year.

VIVID ENTERTAINMENT TAKES NINE AVN AWARDS

– Vivid scored nine big wins at the 21st

AVN Awards ceremony held in Las Vegas (January

10th) including “Best Film”

for “Heart of Darkness.”

In addition to garnering the Best Film honor, “Heart

of Darkness” won “Best

Director-Film” for Paul Thomas,

“Best Oral Sex Scene-Film”

went to Vivid Girl Sunrise Adams

and Randy Spears along with “Best

Actor-Film” and “Best

Supporting Actress-Film”. The Vivid

film “Looking In” received

three awards with “Best Actress-Film”

going to Vivid Girl Savanna Samson,

along with “Best Supporting Actor-Film”

and “Best Group Sex Scene-Film”

which gave Savanna her second trophy of the evening.

Vivid also won the 2004 AVN Award for Best

Overall Marketing Campaign, Company Image.

VIVID GIRLS MAKE THE FASHION PAGES

– Vivid Girls Sunrise Adams

and Mercedez were featured in a photo

slide show this week on Fashion Wire Daily.

Reporter Meaghan Murphy of the popular

fashion industry Web channel covered the Adult

Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas and wrote

a sizzling feature entitled “Porn And Technology:

Another Shotgun Marriage Made In Vegas.”

Her story included a photo of Sunrise

wearing a short, sexy Bebe skirt

and tailored top, and of Mercedez

wearing a very form-fitting bustier.
